Woooooooooooo is right.
Best post ever?
Damn straight. I also love Curto's avatar right now. . .madly.
this post makes me wanna do shots.
Maxim is the greatest magazine in the world, except that part about Ass-O being the greatest player on the planet.
@nwchica -here is a pic of your boy pete with the first star of the game the other night.
go pens.
um...what?
wait... what?
In case you missed it...
I'm speechless.
Can't help to think we should have attempted to sign him despite the past. 42 points in 38 games. Crikey!
I can't believe I actually know what that's from...
And yes, BEST post in a while. Which is saying something, because the posts have been pretty solid lately.
But this approaches legendary status. For many reasons.
I don't get it. lol
Thank you Jefe! He got another assist tonight.
WOOOOOOO-Blog.
So who's the drunken idiot that made this one?
We are all the drunken idiot....
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
I hope this doesn't mean Patrick Dempsey is gonna be the gameday candidate for tomorrow.
I couldn't help myself. Look at this gem:
"Dempsey has been married twice. In 1987, he married actress and acting coach Rochelle "Rocky" Parker, who appeared with Dempsey in the film In the Mood. At the time of their marriage, Dempsey was 21 years old, while Parker was 48, with a son, Corey Parker, who was one year Dempsey's senior. The couple divorced in 1994"
Who the fuck Ok'd that marriage? Of course it ended in a divorce. Wow.
what. the. hell. is. that?
i'm apparently not drunk enough to undestand what's going on.
january 14, mark it down ppl.
can't wait! i don't care what i'll have to do that day of the next, I'M WATCHIN" THAT GAME.
Malkin better man-up. even better if sidney just threw uni-brow into the boards.
maybe he and letang can gang up again.
I'd love to have some enchanted times with Amy Adams.
Mmmmm Amy Adams.
Thank you BnG. I'm glad I'm not alone in recognizing that.
I now feel much better.
You know, I get back from Vegas and take a few days off cblog...and this happens.
Epic, confusing, and epically awesome to the degree that Homer will write poetry about this post.
I know I may be mocked for this but I'm viewing from my iPhone and I'm really not getting a good view of what the pic entails anyone care to explain it to me?
Wow curtO. That's one scary ass avatar. Woooo.
So I'm going to my first NHL game tomorrow. Kings vs Flyers. I figure if I can't see the Pens play live out here I might as well be there to boo the Flyers.
@Meecro: Dude, when you babysit two little girls four days a week it kinda grows on you.
And not in a good way.
In fact... in a "KILL ME NOW GOD!" way.
{shudders}
I almost got beat up tonight cheering for Anaheim in a Philly bar.
So worth it even if Anaheim lost!
FUCK THE FLYERS!
"I almost got beat up tonight cheering for Anaheim in a Philly bar."
And you would have deserved every last fist.
Hey Flyer Hater,
Your Mom.
@holygoligoski-
that video jusdt made my night/ morning...
hell, maybe even my week.
that is by far the strangest thing ive seen in a while.
@BNG- hahah, well, sadly I don't have nearly as good as an excuse as you do for seeing it...
"How does she know that you love her?"
..I'm sorry. That was mean of me.
Please accept my apologies. In the form of accepting my friend request on FB, haha.
...wow. Just...wow. I think I need more wine.
I almost forgot that BNG's favorite actor is in that movie!
Big surprise.
New Photoshop for the Ovechkin Campaign:
I have too much time on my hands
Remember when Steve McKenna was captain? Wow
Ok, so I finally broke down and made a Facebook page...is there a Pensblog group?
Hate em, but have to root for the Caps tonight playin the Rangers........and L.A against the Flyers.
Sorry it is not wooooooooworthy.
I know its early in the morning. But
I went to the ASG site and the page said, "Thank you for voting. ( i did not vote, the page wasnt not up to vote)For the final results and the starters for the 2009 NHL All-Star Game, visit http://www.nhl.com/allstar" When i click on that link it tells me that, the starting lineup will be announced today at 1:30 and fans have less than eight hours to cast their votes for the All-Star starting line-ups. Voting ends at 8:59 p.m. ET tonight.
confused.
[ joe & doughnuts]
*deletes old post because I can't spell today, apparently*
Never mind, I found it...not very active, surprising. Good lord I need to get some sleep...
wooo just over 4 hours til game time, time for sleeeeep?
but seriously, i think i am missing something and am confused
Heh, I know what that is... but I suppose it doesn't have the same effect because I *should* know what it is having two daughters and all.
Today's game is going to be good, I can feel it. If for any other reason, because I'm taking Noelle to her second game and she's terribly excited. I see face painting and buying overly expensive Penguins stuffed animals in my future today.
Oh @akus > if you go to the main nhl.com page it confirms that the voting is complete and they'll be announced at 1:30 today. Wonder if they'll announce them during the game? It only seems appropriate.
Does anybody know if Fleury was still leading last night? I know he was when I looked at work in the afternoon.
Fleury shouldn't even get a sniff off the ASG.
@The Fandangler: I will agree with you. With the way that he's been playing so far, he shouldn't even get nod at this seasons ASG.
Even though DiPi is a walking, er...hobbling giant injury waiting to happen...
didn't he hurt himself while he was 'miked-up' for the ASG skills competition last year? [I think he had hip surgery {the body part, not the cblogger} soon after the ASG festivities were over]
All these individual accomplishments for the Pens' players are sweet and gay ['happy' use of the word, not insinuating Charlie]
But, I'd rather ALL of the Pens who are probably going to participate [Sid, Geno, MAF] rest their bodies & brains than play in a silly exhibition game. Sure, 'Magical Moments' might be created when Sid performs a spin-a-rama, backhanded, flip-the-puck-in-the-air and baseball swing the puck into the net....
OR.
he could get tripped up by the opposing Campbell Conference goalie on a poke-check attempt during the shootout competition and go crashing into the boards and aggravate his HAS.
just my .02¢
[today, worth .0241¢ in Canada!]
I can't believe anyone could defend what Crosby did. That was not a fight. That was another cheapshot from Mr. Buttpuncher.
Are there any Pens fans with integrity that agree with me.
This from the same crowd that wanted Ovechkin suspended 2 days ago.
I feel sorry for you guys that your "savior" has turned out to be such an incredible d-bag.
