KStewy16 from last post - thanks for the response. It just seemed to me like a lot of negative gossip in the same vein coming up at once. I'm not going to begrudge a kid the right to party sometimes or anything like that (hell, you're only young once), but when gossip like that starts flying around, well, one starts to wonder.

Dave actually used to do Wings PBP before he went to the Panthers then the Yotes. But yeah, I watch quite a few Yotes games; and I think he's very knowledgeable, pretty mellow and when he's doing games with Panger, they're a scream.
Outfield seats must absolutely blow. I bet they can't see shit from out there. 1st and 3rd base line seats would be pretty cool though.
Ice surface looks decent. Nowhere near as much snow on it as the other WC.

I feel kinda bad for the guy who sang O, Canada...what an embarassing time to have your voice break. The setup out there looks awesome, though...I got chills. I hope it's a great game.
Why exactly do they sing the Canadian national anthem when its in the US but not any of the other players anthems? I mean, where the Czech, Swiss, Russian, and Slovak anthems?

Strader is a solid backup. He used to do a lot of games for ESPN and I thought he was one of their better announcers.
Lloyd, Hawks games are always like that. If you thought that was loud, check out the 91(?) All Star Game on youtube. For as many times as I've seen it, I still get chills each time I see an anthem in Chicago. Wish more places were like that.
I might have to agree with Kierstan that the sound quality is crap so far.

IMO, Whits doesn't deserve the A on his sweater yet...he hasn't earned it. I was hoping to see Dupuis get one, I thought he earned it. Sykie definitely deserved it.

i think alternating the As was a piss poor decision. I dunno, I just think its a joke move. im all for rewarding good play, effort, everyone being a leader, etc. but a solid, established leadership core is more valuable i think. give it to malkin/orpik/sykora/gill stick with it.
