Good job by Sabu in the first. He had zero chance on the Avs goal.
I'm not going to get too stoked over that powerplay goal, which was due entirely to the skill of Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin. That was one of those instances where they, in fact, can do everything themselves.
But it was 1:50 of absolute mud and Colorado domination. If they hadn't scored, it would've been one of the worst powerplays of the year.
But, as long as the puck goes in the net, nothing else matters. And hopefully it'll be something to build off for the second and third.
Random thought: Does "Troy Crosby" sound like a hero of a Louis L'Amous novel or a character John Wayne would've played or is it just me?

From the first period play, Sabu is playing pretty solidly--his rebounds are pretty controlled, and he can see around traffic to stop the puck, for the most part. That one goal would have been pretty hard to stop, in my opinion.
If you tried to stop Geno's goal, your arm would fall off. WOO 3-42 on the PP now, is it? haha.
