the pens are a good good team. but they do get outworked a lot. its frustrating, but when you have a lot of talent on a team, players begin to think they can win on talent alone. therrien will right the ship, but the east is tight. you can't just say, oh its one game. games add up. and there is cause for concern here. will the pens be ok? no doubt. so dont jump just yet. be concerned, but dont jump.
I honestly don't think the Pens are playing that terrible. I mean, take away 1 lame goal by Fleury, a giveaway in front of the net by Malkin, and a dumbass penalty by Godard, and its a 1-2 game.
Add in a couple bounces going our way, like Vesa not making a godlike save on Satan, and its tied.
Whitney is qbing the power play down in wbs they are now up 3-2 but he has been involved in all the goals even though it will not show up on the score sheet.
