That is the FIRST time I've ever seen that in hockey.
i agree... potash knew. he tried to cover up by saying godard wanted to say hi to his mom.
Potash is one mischievous motherfucker.
I love how the "triple deke, gloveside" is just a guy stick-handling into the zone, STOPPING, and firing a slapshot.
and the suspense of the puck in the glove is killer. can't the people see that it's not in the net?
why wasn't gunner stahl ever drafted?
nothing up my sleeve... POW
Obviously getting rid of Bugsy and Army has destroyed the team chemistry.
Potash is fucking hilarious.
Guy's the best in the business.
And lol at TK.
The feed that I watched the game on last night must have been the straight satellite feed because there were no commercials and you could see them taping interviews and editing highlights and such when they were "off air."
This TK interview wasn't live, it was taped during a commercial break. He could have wiped his face off and started again or cleaned up while they were showing highlights of his goals, but he left the cream on the whole time.
I think he thought it was funnier that way.
I love this team. They clearly have a lot of fun together and it's fun to watch.
yeah penguinsexperience, that feed was brilliant. Like me n' kimberlass said last post, totally drug-induced. I think you gotta smoke a few bowls before you can survive a night on Long Island.
I still miss the classic interviews Potash would do with Ruutu, but last night's was definatly a return to form. I don't like the all business interviews, I love when something silly happens. My all time favorite moment was when Laraque was talking about the Ottawa reporter last year and the steel cage match:
Other reporter: So, do you know him?
Laraque: I know of him, I mean, we're not tight like me and Potash.
Brilliance.
my favorite still has to be laraque kissing potash. that was true love.
and, potash needs to bring back the pink tie. he just isnt the same without it..
love the P-tash.
best. suits. ever.
also, cheers to ty ty for being a good sport about takin' it to the face.
Remember the "best of mic'd up" when Laraque was like "Potash could shoot harder than that!" during practice. . .and then he goes up to Potash and is like, "Hey man, I was just talking about you! Guess what I said?!"
Laraque and Potash were meant to be together.
Kennedy...!
One of many reasons I love TK...and Godard. haha
Staff, could we please make a shirt that says "Do you Sabu?" I would totally buy one, thank you. haha
And I do like Mr. Manning, but...not today. Go Stillers.
Dare I say it, but Ben is playing like a beast today. Even as he's about to get sacked, he makes some big plays.
Good for him.
again, my team makes it so much easier to love them. what professional athlete would actually conduct an interview with that crap on their face. only in the burgh with potash!
potash 4 prez!
oops. guess i'm late.
Ben tries to make too many big plays. derr.
icecold, it's not too late.
Potash 2012
Good to see that January is coming early this year for Large Ben. Sid doesn't get that pass picked.
Ben has two minutes to unfuck this mess that he caused.
14 pts resulting from possessions created by his interceptions.
because it's appropriate...cue the pic
Outstanding third down play call and clock management.
Ben's such a joke, I love it.
At least the Pens can win.
Hines Ward is a joke. So many dropped passes.
@Flyer Hater
Steelers fans are the joke...Large Ben is merely the punchline.
Here's another reason to love Kennedy:

And Sid wouldn't get that pass picked. He would simply bounce it off the goalpost.
"You'll never hear me say 'I' anything, but I lost this game," said Roethlisberger, who appeared to be crying into a towel when reporters entered the locker room. "I take it on myself. I let the guys down on offense and defense. It hurts, but we'll learn from it."
-Associated Press story
Okay, so I don't hate Ben--I know he can play like a beast (and he was, at the beginning of the game), but I don't know what happens to his momentum.
Hines Ward had a decent game.
The D Line needs to stop carrying the weight, though--let's go, O-line.
And Mewelde Moore is a beast, but I want my Willie back. haha
3 losses, at least this time it wasn't to a team I dislike.
Roethlisberger is probably injured more seriously than what is being let on. I know he is the "guy", but these games can pile up. He played several games in 2006 that he should not have. They missed the playoffs by 1 game that season.
The defense can't win them all.
At least the Pens beat a New York team.
Totally off topic, but I'm really anxious for it to be Tuesday. Bring on Detroit!
btw, I just checked and there are still some tickets available for Tuesday in Detroit.
If I wasn't afraid of being shot, I'd totally go.
I'm kinda meh towards Tuesday. Granted, it's hockey and a rematch of the Stanley Cup Finals, but how much am I gonna be able to stomach "Guys, the Red Wings totally won last year and you didnt, remember this clip?" and "Marian Hossa was a Penguin last year."? I'm gonna say I'll be throwing up before the puck drops.
