I wouldn't be too worried about this game being a repeat of the Minnesota snoozefest. A lot of teams nowadays play that style of hockey. What makes it boring when watching a team like Minnesota play that style is when they have virtually no offensively-dynamic players. When you have to move your best offensive defensemen to forward to get a spark you know you are mud.
Vancouver actually has some talent and entertaining players. Something Minnesota can't say this side of Marian Gaborik's groin.

Other than that, refs letting all kinds of shit go in the third is pretty much the norm, for better or worse.
I got nothing against the hit on Talbot got hit straight on the shoulder, and he flew into the boards.
I'm pissed about the no call on Gogo getting tripped infront of Sabu. Incidental contact? Then don't call the one on Gill earlier in the game too. What if it leads to a goal? Weak. I'm also against the interference call in the corner late in the game. I forget what Canuck player it was but he was literally on his knees pushing against a Pen who was trying to get the puck which was a good two strides away.
We didn't help ourselves with our missed early PPs but blatant no calls in the third is ridiculous. Why is it only in the third that you need to chop of someone's arm to get called with a slash? Call the game the same the whole way. If you make a hook in the first period, the same hook should be called with a minute left in the third.
