I moonlight as a Blue Jackets "fan" and the call on Peca is 90% bullshit. Indefinite for tapping a ref? Which is longer than boarding calls that end players seasons. It'd be different if he pummeled the guy, but he didn't. I'm not defending Peca in any way (the guy's had one too many concussions) but it's bullshit. It makes the NHL look weak.

Biron has actually played pretty well against the Pens over the years with Buffalo and Philly so I'm glad Nitty is playing. It seems like half of Sid's 4 point games have been against him.
The Pens are going to have to work harder than they did on Saturday if they want to have a chance against Washington on Thursday night. The Caps will eat them alive if they slack off, just ask Vancouver.

Mike Zappone comes through in the clutch for KDKA. Unfortunately, Mike Zappone's eyebrows were unable to confirm the fourth liners for tonight. Normally, like Smokey from Friday, Idon'tgiveafuuuuuuuck about the fourth line, but I'd love to see Bissonnette play "My Fist, Your Face" with Downie or some other Flyers punk that decides to get a little brave tonight. Bissonnette is one sandwich short of a full pic-a-nic basket, so this could be fun.

But, as was said, you can't score if you don't throw it at the net. There were a couple times where they just tried to make an extra pass. Satan was skating right in and could have fired a wrister.
Finally!!!! The Pens appear to be back! They are FINALLY fighting for the puck, creating turnovers instead of turning it over, getting shots! They still haven't scored, but finishing will come, at least they are creating the chances. Hopefully they have turned the page on the last couple games and are gonna kick some ass now.

Last minute was sickening since the Pens pretty much dominated the rest of the period. Lots of chances for Malkin and Dupuis, they need to bury those, I'm banking on Malkin to do so in the final frame.
The PP definitely looks a bit better and there were the great role player goals from the Candy Man and Ziggy Stardust. They definitely need to play the "Candyman" song when he gets a goal or gets a fight or is just handing out free candy.
Whatever, we're dominating and Nittymaki is reverting into suckmode. We'll be fine.
