I heard that Philadelphia is doing a student rush night for their game against the Pens on December 13th. If that turns out to be true, I'm blowing a ton of money to get down there and go to the game with kimberlass (because cheap tickets are worth travel expenses). Camp out if we have to. True story.

Students camped out on the Gate 8 doorstep early this morning, with one group bringing their own tent. A few students arrived as early as 25 hours before Thursday night’s 7:38 puck drop.
The remaining student rush nights will be held Nov. 13 vs. Philadelphia, Jan. 20 vs. Carolina and March 20 vs. Los Angeles.
No joke, my husband and I were leaving for our house this morning on our way to our jobs. Up pulls this van, the side of the van displays the title "The Candy Man", the driver asks me if I know where Brooks Street is. My husband looks at me and says, "It's a sign from God." The driver looked at us like we were nuts.
I will not be participating in drinkblog tonight, but I'll at least be in the chat. Day 6 has passed, 24 days to go.

So, I'm thinking this was foreshadowing for a multi-point season for MAF. Right? Right.
I dunno fh, I still think it should be more for a spark. The Hossa-Crosby-Malkin line was basically mud every time they were put out against the Wings. I like them centering their own lines because it forces teams to pick their poison. I just don't think HCMT gave enough time for Satan to gell with Crosby. debriss, this game reminded me of some Devils losses over the years. They get a lead on a fluky play, goalie holds the fort, and we hit like 15 posts and miss 5 empty nets in the 2nd and 3rd periods. You just knew that the first goal had to be fluky if we were going to score at all and the floodgates would open.
I love Biz Nasty's fights, and love that he and Godard can convince more people to fight than Laraque. I'd rather see Thomas get sent down then Biz Nasty.
Godard pulling Brookbank to his feet was probably the greatest thing in the world, even if Brookbank used it to his advantage.

I was very disappointed to see that my pic from Saturday was missed.
Our offensive system was working all game. We got a good PP goal to energize, and once we were energized we could demoralize the Canes. The other three goals were just badassery making itself known. It fucking worked.
Hopefully the Photoshop I just made makes it into the recap.
Also, I saw no one really replied. I thought bringing up the story that Gill was in a car accident might get a response. Guess not. Yikes @ cblog anymore.
