This just in: staff hates competition.
By the way, I was wondering...I think it would be cool if someone hosted Steelersgameblog at their abode or if we went somewhere to watch a game in a group, because tickets would be astronomical.
I don't know exactly how many people watch the Steelers on here, but it's worth a shot, I think.

Eileen, agreed. I want to see Brady Quinn come in; I really want to see that go down ... why is Anderson even talked about? He's a joke. I can't wait until Woodley kills him, and Hampton sits on him. I love the defense so really anybody killing him would be awesome.

I think it may be a little too early to speculate on Gaborik coming to the Pens. Shero has a lot to deal with budget-wise and trying to sign Staal. The Wild would probably want someone decent to trade him for especially since he is going to be a free agent at the end of this season. If Shero wants him enough, he'll probably make a move, but really how do we know if we need Gaborik? Because he's a talented player? The season needs to play out a bit to see who we need to pick up and such.
It doesn't matter if they are from the same country, Rage. It matters if he's willing to play. From what I've heard, he doesn't want to play for the Wild. main signal is probably the $8.5 million he was offered.
And if a team is offering him that much, who's to say some others won't either? We can't afford to keep him with that kinda salary even if he's younger than Hossa. We have a lot of young guys that we want to keep and Gaborik and his salary wants may get in the way.
Normally, I cheer like hell against the Steelers, but I'll give them a free pass today because D-Mac put up 164 on the ground for my boys!
Now if our owner would just kick off and die, the team might get somewhere.
If Gaborik comes to the Pens, I will volunteer to be the engine on the man train for a night.
