The Ottawa Sun has been a joke since it came out. University students in this city are not even allowed to use it as a reference. I won't predict a Pens win because I don't want to jinx things and I'm not sure who is coming back to the Sens lineup and what the Ottawa crowd will do for that team...but I'm still liking our chances of winning the series.

The excitement on all those guys faces (especially staal) during their celebrations is what the playoffs are all about.

Postgame Thoughts Before Bed, dudes...
1. I wish I could get up to Ottawa by Wednesday, but I'm not sure they'll let me into ScotiaBank Place with this set of golf clubs marked "Jason Spezza".
2. Laura Von Awesome - first off, love the name. Second off, "choking on cock is what the Sens do best." So funny, but so true. Third, if you manage to make it to Wednesday's game, please show up with a broom as some sweeping will hopefully be on the agenda after the game is over.
3. Pay Fleury whatever the hell he wants this summer. What we are seeing, folks, is the evolution of our franchise goaltender into one of the names who will soon be mentioned among the league's elite netminders.
4. Wonder whatever happened to those hacks who used to tell me three years ago over at the LGP boards that Fleury wouldn't cut it in the NHL and the Pens would be better off investing in the development of Sabourin.
5. Back in January, I never thought I'd say this, but I really hope this organIzation goes out of its way to try to re-sign Brooks Orpik. Kid's made a believer out of me...what an overall force he's become in his own end.
6. Love to hear what the Ottawhine fans are going to say about this one. Simple answer: Your team had 34 shots and you beat Fleury once. Your asstastic defense and transition game gave up two goals in less than 90 seconds, and after that, your team folded up like a tent, managing only 7 shots in the third period. You can't blame the refs for that, Ottawhine fans.
7. If I was a Sens fan, I'd have trouble deciding who I'd hate more for putting my team behind the eight ball in big spots - Martin Lapointe or Chris Neil. Actually, that list might be getting a lot longer, but let's wait till Wednesday night to discuss that.
What a day, eh?
Began with a flurry of stories about kickass grandparents and ends with the Pens up three games to none and a chance to publicly eviscerate the Sens on their home ice in front of their own fans in Game Four, sending them to the golf course or their spa treatments for the summer.
