Just found out I'm going to "the game" on 1/24!!!!!!! I'm very excited.
Unfortunately I won't be able to watch Ben Eager run and hide from Georges because BabyFat was traded to Chicago for Jim Vandameer tonight.
Ben Eager couldn't take anymore photoshops, has packed his bags, and run off to Chicagoland.
I was at this game, and it was disgusting. Since I don't live in Pittsburgh, I only get to go to 1-2 games a year. This was the most pathetic display of hockey I have ever seen. I didn't see one player hustle. It was awful. In the words of Michelle Therrien, they looked "soft."

yeah, the game was that bad
what's been really frustrating to watch is the would-be highlight goals that sid and malkin have every night. i swear to god every goalie that we play against is on some sort of incredible hot streak.
john, that is true, i said the same thing to my girlfriend. it's like no matter who is in net for the other team, they are like a fucking wall, then you look at the scores from the next game and the same guy lets in 4 or 5 goals against another team. frustrationblog
