Gary Roberts breaks his fibula, and then ignites the paramedics on fire with his laser beam stare as they attempt to enter the ice with a stretcher. Tommarow he'll bang their moms! I love that man

The AP article just said Gary Roberts "has" a broken leg. My guess is that broken leg belongs to Paul Gaustad. Gary snapped the bone with his mind, gnawed it off Gaustad's body at mid thigh and is going to display it on his mantle.

I blame the erroneous The Office photoshop below.
Any normal Human would be back in action mid to late February. Mr. Roberts intends to play on Thursday (He wanted to give a teammate the chance to play in the outdoor game)
I go on vacation and check the scores only to see this. I'm speechless. A game with out Gary Roberts will be :-(

It was misreported. Gary Roberts wanted a break before the New Years game, not Gary Roberts broke a leg before the New Years game.
Rumour is that he will be out 2-4 days.
So be it, it's time for the team to rally once again and make some things happen.

The good: we won, and it's only his fibula. I say only because it wasn't his knee or ankle joints and it wasn't his femur or tibia. Those all would keep him out considerably longer. And when they were skating with him off the ice, it actually looked like he was pissed off at his bone for having the nerve to break.
The bad: hopefully Tim Connelly has a small family. Because they all may wind up dead. Or horribly maimed. And we'll probably be finding out if Taffe is the real deal. Before the season started, I had a feeling that we were pretty lucky when it came to injuries, besides Eaton's. That injury bug sure is kicking our ass this year.
gary, we miss you more than gonchar missed geometry, when he passed the puck to the caps on tuesday
him falling on the ice in the beginning of the game when shero gave him that glass was a red flag saying you shouldnt play tonight.

Somewhere in the back of my mind i am thinking of this as one of those WWE the wrestler is actually on vacation things.
Have we just seen the first official Photoshop curse? Or has it happened before on here?
I don't think it was the fact that there WAS a photoshop, just that it had TK instead of EC, who is really on the line with BGL and Roberts. That's an error, and that's why Gary Roberts broke his leg. I hope you're happy.
