Letang better make a big splash tonight because it looks like he won't make the team as of now. So if you don't look forward to at least half a season with Weaver or Scuderi root hard for Kris tonight. Also, anytime Mike Lange does a game it gets me pumped. WOOOOOOOOOOO

Hooks, I really do hope so because what i've seen out of Letang tonight hasn't impressed me. His ice time has been limited and when he has been on the ice he's been unimpressive. Malkin has been the man of the match by far so far.
Ashley you better be one of those hot Penguin fans because it seems like you know nothing about the game.
Canaan, among the others reasons to complain about being a caps fan is their Caps TV. Try watching the game, it looks like Gateway A/V club produced it.

Sydor is directly responsible for 3 of Buffalo's six goals tonight. He's looked putrid. Right now I can't tell much of a difference between him and Melichar.

Was at the game... just got home (Cleveland). I'm pissed.
Still... it was GREAT to be back in the arena again!
Got the score on my cell while I was watching my (sort of) hometown Topeka Roadrunners of the NAHL crush the Alaska Avalanche 5-1 in their home opener. Sort of sad but it's only a preseason game.
I saw by far more Penguins jerseys in the crowd than any other NHL team. (Especially since my mom, dad, brother and mother-in-law were all sporting Pens jerseys from my collection.) But seriously, not including my family, more people were wearing Pens jerseys than any other team. More than the Red Wings, more than the Avalanche, more than the Ducks. And not new Crosby or Malkin jerseys, either, a few Lemieuxs, a Jagr, etc. Old school. Gotta love it.

anyone else kind of disappointed in the preseason? guys you know would be great (crosby, malkin) were.
but filewich, stone, brent, letang all played like mud and probably none of them will make the roster.
i realize, to an extent, it's a good thing that minor league youngster can't crack pittsburgh's lineup anymore. but judging by the prospects specific preseasons it was pretty underwhelming how none of them stood out. in good ways, atleast.
oh well. season starts in less than an hour. center ice, i have missed you so.
