We hope you get your building but lose tonight's game so we can gain some ground here....by the way as a relocated Long Islander now living in a town called Yardley, which is 35 mins outside of Philly I have one thing to say about that city. It absolutly blows, it is dirty, infested with rude and arrogant folks, and has a crime rate that almost puts Camden to shame. I had the pleasure to play at Mellon Arena in the spring of 2000 with my high school hockey team when we reached the finals for states. The city is wonderful and blows Philthy right out of the water. yeah i agree. I have never been anticipating such a positive or negative thing in my entire life. Seriously. I'm also sick to my stomach. I hope tonight is the deciding night. This can't drag on anymore, the stress is too ridiculous. Of course if we hear bad news, then i do want it to drag on.

The longer this takes the more I am starting to worry that their won't be any news tonight -- or that they will come with a statement that things are progressing, but no deal is finalized yet.

Here's how I view 2 things
1. We lost to NJ in SO:
all-in-all a division title is a bit out of reach, but the point helps for playoff contention
2. Arena meeting:
the longer the meeting goes, the better. the way i view it, it means they are really hammering out a deal.
I'm not so sure the shootout effort was that lazy -- I just think Brodeur is that good (even with a 7-7 record in SO). He is "money" against the Pens lately.
