Fuck that announcer.. Yeah, it sucks that it happened, but it's not Patrick Stefan's fault the puck jumped over his stick. Its not like he missed the net trying to drill in home, he just made a slight switch from backhand to forehand and the puck seemed to hit a rut. No need to be "embarassed."

I think it's the fault of the goalie letting in that goal! Challenge a little? Hear of a poke check? Sheesh...

Well for one, Patrick Stefan probably should have taken a little more care to it, but he was right in that he didn't try to show the Oilers up by slamming an empty net goal home. Secondly, it really isn't his fault that the puck jumped up over his stick like that.

Thirdly, the goalie should never be put to blame for his team giving up a breakaway in the closing minutes of a game that they're leading by one. Blaming the goalie for letting that goal in is like blaming the Pirates catcher for not applying the tag on Sid Bream when everyone knows it was Barry Bonds' candy arm that led to the Pirates not winning the game.

Bake- Closing SECONDS of the game. (LOL!)

I don't get why he didn't try to make the shot from further back. Either way, it made the game so much more interesting.

Too bad Edmonton still lost :(

Beautiful. I knew there was a reason I loved Ales so much. Now if only Marc-Andre Bergeron remembered the actual definition of the word "defense", we might have something going on.
