Tuesday Night Fixins

I'm conducting this post on dial-up internet at my parents' house. On good old cable internet, I can rapid-fire 5 or 6 bookmarks into tabs and search through all of them for links in about fifteen minutes. This dial-up internet is ridiculous, though.

...I ended up watching the first period of the Buffalo-Philly game on Versus tonight. It looked like it was going to be a defensive battle...HA! The godfather of the Pensblog wanted to watch the NLCS on FOX, so I switched back to the game on a commercial and saw the Sabres with a 6-0 lead in the second. They ended up winning 9-1...

...Buffalo STILL on track for 82-0. Philly losing is great, too. The Ken Hitchcock unemployment watch has commenced...

...Some pessimistic news that we feel we are obliged to report: Russian hockey team Yaroslavl filed a suit against the NHL, Calgary Flames and Edmonton Oilers. It's a quick read. It just won't go away...

...At time of this post, undefeated Dallas Stars are losing 1-0 to the Sharks in the first period...
