Tie Domi Retires

A sad day for hockey Toronto. Tie Domi has retired from the NHL after 16 "solid" years. Although not the flashiest of players, every hockey fan knew his name. He leaves the game ranked 4th all-time in penalty minutes with a little over 3,500. His name has 3 syllables, which comes in second to Jim Paek for smallest number of syllables in a hockey player's name.

(Pictured: Paek, dominating)

Domi started off his career with the Rangers...

Participated in the Book-It! Program in Winnipeg...

And finally ended his career, playing with himself, in Toronto...

Of course, we can't pay homage to Tie Domi without showing this clip...
